Welcome to the Mid-Valley Community Police Council
The Mid-Valley Community Police Council comprises local business owners, corporate and community stakeholders plus area residents who share a commitment to support the LAPD Van Nuys Area Police Station. MVCPC is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1978 by Sid Miller and a small group of proactive citizens who believed that crime prevention was everyone’s responsibility. The MVCPC is proud to have grown substantially over the years and continues its focus to raise funds for the Van Nuys Area Station;

Put on your boots and join the Mid-Valley Community Police Council for their annual Cops & Cowboys BBQ and hoedown at the Leonis Adobe Museum located in the beautiful city of Calabasas. There will be hosted libations, museum tours, a silent auction, poker and blackjack in the Gambling Hall with the lovely Dealer Dolls, country rock music and line dancing lessons from the Magnolia Drawl Band, whiskey tasting, and a super delicious BBQ cooked on site… plus a few more fun surprises!

Attention all equites – Join other cowboys and cowgirls from Los Angeles, Shadow Hill, Bell Canyon and Equestrian Centers in our area for a night of fund raising for the Los Angeles Police Department Van Nuys Division. All horseman, cross county riders, jumpers, western dressage and riders are welcome.
